Math Wizards gives families a plan and the tools they need to help their child achieve success mastering the times tables. Sets of multiples with the easiest patterns to recognize are introduced first. Once these are mastered, new sets are introduced. This allows kids to feel the value of what they have already learned as they strive to learn more.
Rhymes, pictures, music and humor are used to make recalling facts easy and fun!
Kids look up to their parents, and that's not just an issue of height! They want to spend time with family members and they want to have fun, too. Math Wizards makes learning fun and allows families the chance to create memories together. Kids will be surprised at how much they have learned! They'll be having too much fun to even realize they are learning. Math Wizards helps kids by making math feel like doing magic.
As students master each set of facts, for example, "the 2's," they earn Math Wizard Honor Stars. These embroidered stars are proudly worn on their Math Wizards T-shirt. Progres is visible to all! When all the stars are earned, a Marstery Patch recognizes them as a Mastery Level Math Wizard...truely an honor!
Dear Math Wizards Families,
Welcome! As a parent and teacher, I created the Math Wizards Program because I have been "in your shoes." I wanted to develop a way for families to teach, and kids to learn the times tables "by heart," that was organized, encouraging and would let kids learn at their own pace. Most of all, it would be fun! "Learning with Emotion" is an element that sets the Math Wizards Program apart from others.
Mastering the times tables can be challenging at times, but so can rock climbing, white water rafting or even creating a work of art. All of these things can also be enjoyable and a source of pride. Commit to devoting 15 minutes a day to working on each week's set of facts. Feel free to be creative! The more you are connected to what what you are doing, the more you will remember it. Take time to review, and of course, don't forget to have fun.

What is a "Math Wizard?"
A Math Wizard is someone who has mastered the times tables. They know them so well that solving them looks like magic!
Welcome Math Wizards!
Congratulations on choosing to work toward mastering the times tables. Developing this skill is an admirable goal. Knowing the times tables, "by heart, in a heartbeat," will make you much faster at math, and it's a skill you'll use your whole life. Math Wizards will help by giving you tips, tricks and patterns to help you quickly recall your multiplication facts. This can be fun! Remember, you are not alone in this journey. Students and family member teams will be working on these together. Regardless of whether the times tables are brand new for you, or if you just want to master those last few facts you struggle with, this is a good opportunity to focus in a fun, relaxed atmosphere. Success with this goal will surely lead to greater and continued success in mathematics.
